Shay Murtagh Precast, in conjunction with Balfour Beatty manufactured and delivered precast bridge beams for three bridge decks on this project.
This included
- fourteen 17.1m long Y1 beams
- eighteen 14.9m long TY7 beams
- sixteen 12.7m long TY5 beam
All bridge beam units were 2m long and ranged in size from 1.5m x 1.5m with 200mm thick walls to 4.2m x 3.6m with 300mm thick walls.
The supply of precast concrete box culvert units also formed part of the contract. The combined total run of culvert amounted to 450 linear metres.
