Breakthrough at C310 Thames Tunnel Crossrail

On the 8^th of May the last deliveries of tunnel segments left the Shay Murtagh Precast factory for the CROSSRAIL C310 site in London.

This concluded just over 3,400 loads delivered to the site over a 2 year period.

C310 – is contracted to HOCHTIEF Murphy Joint Venture (HMJV), and in September 2012 HMJV awarded Shay Murtagh Precast the prestigious specialist manufacture of the precast concrete segmental tunnel linings.

Since then we have manufactured nearly thirty thousand individual precast concrete tunnel segments and transported same to the site.

In late May Shay Murtagh Precast Directors - Ciaran Murtagh and Liam McGovern along with Tunnel Manufacturing Manager Donal McGovern were on site at CROSSRAIL Thames Tunnel C310 for End of Tunnel.
