Project Description
The treatment plant will treat domestic, commercial and industrial wastewater from Waterford City and Environs. The design capacity of the plant is for a population equivalent of 188,000. The Works comprise the design, specification, procurement, supply, construction, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of a complete, fully functioning wastewater and sludge treatment and recycle/reuse system including final effluent outfall.
Concrete Works
The Stormwater storage tanks have a diameter of 32m and the base was constructed of reinforced concrete with a conical base.
