Shay Murtagh Precast manufactured and delivered box culvert units to construct a 7.5m long x 3.3m internal width x 2.1m internal height structure supporting the highway.

2 no HEADBEAMS 3.60 X .45
4 no WING WALLS 2.50 X 2.50 with a 30 deg taper away
Concrete design according to Eurocodes EN 1990, EN 1991-1-1, EN 1991-2, EN 1992-1 and EN 1992-2 (UK annexes)
Precast concrete culvert modelled as a rigid frame
Exposure Class in accordance with EN 206 & BS 8500-1:2015+A2:2019: XC3/4, XD3 & XF4
Design working life – cat 5 >120 years
